My affiliate marketing research continues.....

I have been very lax these past few weeks in keeping my blog updated. As my personal research into affiliate marketing continues, I am finding there is much to learn.

There are so many companies and products to choose from! I could never have imaging the choices. If there is product you can think of, there is an affiliate program to promote it.

Like any other business, you will need to work in order to make money. The one thing I am learning about myself in this process, is that I like to advertise. While looking through programs, I am also finding new way to promote my website and affiliate links.

I will keep you posted as to what I choose and how I came to that conclusion.

Have a great week!

Affiliate Marketing

I have always heard of Affiliate Marketing, but never really understood what it all meant. My thought was always, "What is affiliate marketing?" or "Why would I want to join any type of affiliate marketing program?".

Recently, I have begun looking into affiliate marketing as I have begun to shy away from MLM. I know there is great money to be made with MLM, but I am finding that I really enjoy advertising and promoting other products that I don't have to buy on a monthly basis. Therefore, I have begun to look at affiliate marketing.

I am beginning to see that there are many things out there! It is amazing how many companies offer affiliate programs. Anything and everything you can think of and in all payment ranges. Looks like I have my work cut out for me trying to decide what will work for me.

If anyone has any suggestions, please make sure to post a comment. I would love to hear any experience you have with affiliate marketing or any companies you are working with as well.

Do you write articles?

Here in Western New York, we are having "winter break" from school. For me, this means all 3 of my boys are home. Yes, we have been able to do some activities together like skating and playing hockey, but unfortunately this last part of the week has been really cold.

I also find this a harder time to work as they always want something as soon as I sit down to do something or the phone rings. So I have been doing some research online trying to find good, quality ways to promote my site and blogs.

After jumping into the blogging world, I have now decided to try my hand at writing articles. While I find it a daunting task, I also feel that I do have something to offer. While many moms know what it is like to work from home with kids, many don't. And the ones of us who do also like to share strategies that work for us. I know I can always use fresh ideas for working around them, especially as they get older and their needs change.

If you have written an article before, please comment and let me know how it went for you. Did you enjoy it? Did you submit it? Would you do it again?

Thank you for your input and have a great and blessed day!

Valentine's Day is fast approaching...

Valentine's Day and all the candy is fast approaching! Seems like only yesterday it was Christmas. My, how the time flies. It seems to go faster and faster with each passing year.

My twin boys are in 4th grade and I know it is only a matter of time before they "discover" girls. Some of the boys in their classes already "like" girls. I am not ready for this!!! It seems like everything in life goes so much faster for our kids than it did for us. I wonder if that is what our parents thought too.

The best part about working from home is I will be able to go into school and help their teachers to setup for their parties. I would definitely hate to be missing these years and this time with them because I had to go to work. Many moms choose to go back to work, and I think that's great if that is what you are comfortable doing. For me, I always wanted to be home with my children. I am thankful that I can have this time with them.

Just a reminder, if you haven't mailed your valentines yet, take a look at Send Out Cards. Since we moms already have so much to do, I personally am thrilled to be able to choose my cards, personalize them and mail them all from home and let Send Out Cards do the work. Save me money too!

Have a great and blessed day!

It's been a while....

It has been a while since I have posted on this particular blog. Things became very hectic as the holidays approached, especially with 3 boys in the house who were looking forward to Santa coming to their house.

Now, with the holidays over, and the new year started, I am ready to get back to work. Everyone is back and school and their time off is over. I am also planning on getting back into shape again. I have made time for everything in my life but exercise, and now that is going to change. If you want to follow my progress and learn some dieting and fitness tips, make sure to check out my other blog, http://exerciseisgreat.blogspot.com.
